2017 Small Group Leader Training

We will provide great training for leaders of groups of all ages! Join us for this exciting event as we develop leaders who build up churches!

Value for Adult Leaders:
Over time, adult groups can become inwardly focused. We will take a good look at a number of principles and practices of outwardly focused groups. We will also evaluate our adult groups in this area. In addition, we will spend some time training in the area of breaking the “100” barrier (or for your church, perhaps the “50” or “200” barrier) with our groups. Our time together will be inspirational, encouraging and empowering.

Value for Children’s Ministry Leaders:
Our time together will be purposeful and practical. Focusing on the purpose of teaching, we will look into three essential nutrients of our ministry to children. This will allow us to evaluate our own leadership and help us give focus in our time with kids. We’ll also look at some games and activities which help to increase learning and decrease fidgeting. Every leader from babies through preteens can benefit from this session.

Value for Student Leaders:
It is fearfully wonderful to lead a small group of students in discipleship. We have the great privilege of investing in the next generation. We should guard against allowing our groups to become inwardly focused. We continue to train so we can continually share the gospel with students that they may enter the pipeline of discipleship. Whether you are a veteran youth worker or a rookie, it is always good to sharpen your skills.
